Meet Dovile, owner of Butterfly Boutique.

As a little girl I used to play store with my grandmother and that was one of my favorite things to do. Years later, after I had my first child Lukas, and being blessed to be a stay at home mom for few years, it was time for Lukas to be around other kids and socialize more at daycare and for me to go back to work.

One day I was walking in downtown Cambridge and I realized we really didn’t have a gift store that would offer unique gifts for different occasions. We had jewelry stores and clothing, but nothing that you could run in last minute and pick up a gift for a birthday, wedding, house warming, baby shower or just something cute for yourself. 

The light bulb went off and my childhood dream to be a business owner was re-awakened.

I opened Butterfly 🦋 Boutique in September of 2015. The name came from the love of butterflies and their unique beauty. I wanted my store to represent that. Offering unique gifts, beautiful items and things I love myself and hope others would love them just as much! 

Butterfly Boutique is a mix of locally made items, organic/all natural self care products, all natural soy and coconut wax candles, Baltic amber jewelry from my home country - Lithuania, trendy clothes and accessories, serving dishes and wedding gifts, Maryland and Cambridge-lovers gifts and so much more!

After a few years in business my children’s corner was growing because of demand and it was time to consider adding more space. Luckily a space next door became available and Caterpillar 🐛 Kids was born! We have clothing from Newborn all the way up to 10 years old! There is always something fun and new at the kids boutique. From fun toys to book shelves full of great books, to some unique seasonal gifts and accessories. Kids and adults alike have fun looking around!
